Birgitta has lived and worked in Copenhagen, Paris, and London as photographer. From her base in Copenhagen, she travels all over the world and her work brings her to London, Paris, and New York several times a year. Working for some of the world’s most prestigious international magazines including Vogue Living, Dwell, Elle Décor and Milk and shooting campaigns and catalogues has given her a broad experience in both fashion, portraits, interior and design including several best selling books.

Birgitta has always gravitated to using natural sources of light and shadows and whatever is at hand. Paired with an ability to stand in the right spot, finding the best angle and expose a new perspective, this approach has resulted in her honest and distinctive style earning her international recognition. With her camera she sees something unique in every moment and creates perfectly imperfect impressions.
